New Old drawing

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

I’ve let resistance run things for a while but I’m back now. Here’s a new drawing.

Excuse my absence please

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to post anything on here. We’ve been pretty busy lately. Flipping through my sketch book I realized that there are a few drawings I wanted to share with you all. So without further ado, I present to you a few recent drawings.

Sketchy Bus Rides

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

With gas prices climbing up so high I’ve been riding the bus more frequently to work and back. What was usually a 15 minute drive has become an hour voyage each way. But that’s okay. This gives me a lot of time to catch up on much needed reading AND I get to doodle in my mini sketch book. Here are a few recent pages from the little libro.

These guys were at the front of the bus… I just had to draw them.

These two were sitting behind me whispering loudly about somebody named Angie Phalange. They kept spraying there saliva all around. It was pretty gross.

Here’s a tree with a great falsetto.

Here we have Reginald doing his wing flappin’ jig. Also pictured are a few random dudes.

And here is a bird with a long neck. Her name is luka (with the long nuca). She lives on the second floor. This was not done on the bus. I can’t hold a smooth straight line on the bus if my life depended on it.

New Sketchbook

Friday, June 20th, 2008

Hello all, happy friday. I recently picked up a new sketch book and I’ve been trying to really fill it up, so far I’m off to a good start. I even have a smaller travel size book I take on the bus-ride into work. Here are a few pages right out of my new book.

Also, a few weeks back I posted a sketch here and I wanted to share my development on Reginald. I still need to tweak him a bit but this is how the ol’ chap is coming along.

I’ve been on this “character” kick lately, I’ve been really inspired by my friend Mika and her mad scientist-like work ethic. Check out her work here. Well, I’m done… have a great weekend.

Ainsworth and Reginald

Sunday, May 25th, 2008

These two are a product of a black lumber crayon and loose papers I was able to round up on my desk. They travel together and often times take on different identities. They are charming blokes, but are NOT to be trusted.

The background is a bed sheet converted to a curtain by the mrs.
