I’ve always dug their sound but man, seeing them live two weeks ago at ACL was a whole new thing. The energy and musicianship, all sooo good. Here is a shot I was able to take just as they had finished their set.

Also, after their performance, I was able to meet the man himself. No, not Jack White, but the designer of a ton of the gig posters for Jack’s bands, Rob Jones. He is a swell fella with an immense amount of knowledge, creativity, and kindness. I may have a fun project in the works thanks to Rob. I’ll fill you all in on it as it develops. Good night.
